Welcome to our Perham-Down Nursery

Opened in 2011, our Perham Down Nursery is set in a peaceful rural location, surrounded by greenery and just five minutes from Salisbury Plain, making it  easily accessible for families living and working nearby.

Our Perham Down Nursery has capacity for up to 50 children each day and  offers dedicated rooms for each age group: Snowdrops (0–2 years), Daffodils (2–3 years) and Ladybirds (3–5 years) so we can support every stage of early development through fun, hands-on learning.

Our Perham Down Nursery offers a close-knit, caring environment where every child can flourish. With a strong community feel and a ‘Good’ Ofsted rating make our  families can feel reassured that their child is receiving high-quality childcare in a safe, welcoming, and stimulating setting.

Children at Poppies enjoy the freedom of free-flow access to our outdoor space throughout the day. Outdoor learning is an important part of our approach, helping children build confidence, independence, and a love of the natural world. To keep little ones fuelled for all that activity, we provide healthy hot meals that are freshly prepared on-site every day, ensuring children have the nutrition they need to grow and thrive.

Whether it’s through creative activities, outdoor play, or quiet time for reflection, we make sure every child at our Perham Down Nursery has the space to flourish and the encouragement to reach their full potential.
